*sighs*

I just had a long post, then I lost it. Oh, the perils of berry blogging!

My daughter, Emma, has my 9000 for the time being. Her phone wasn't receiving calls/texts etc, and she wasn't about to use our upgrade slot!

I'm still hoping hubby uses it for my birthday pressie and gets me a Torch. A WHITE one :)

I also asked for him to take my girlfriend and I to a Vince Gill concert in October, so we will see.

Mark your calendars! My birthday's mid November! I expect lots of twitter kisses :P

As I've been saying for the past 6 yrs and for the 7th year in a row now: I will be 29 for the 7th time! :D

More themes..

Yet another fave themer of mine is @ladyrubythemes ( www.ladyrubythemes.com ). I've had the blessing of working with her on a themer collaberation project in the past, and just adore her AND her themes.

She mostly does 9700/96/89 themes, and has started converting her themes to 85xx. Just ask (or donate for her time!) For a 9000 theme to be converted and she just might! She has one on there already, and I have it on my 9000. LOVE it!

Theme Clubs

As a former blackberry themer, I have a LOT of pet peeves when it comes to my themes on Vera. Yes, I named my blackberry Vera :)

For those who aren't SciFi geekies, the name Vera comes from the now defunct series Firefly, which stars Nathan Fillion(who also is Capt. Hammer in Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, a must see!!) and Adam Baldwin. Adam played Jayne, who always had his trusty gun with him, named.. Vera. Yes, I'm a giant dork!

Back to themes..

So, I'm picky. I join three theme clubs every month, because I am a total THEME WHORE!!! (I currently have 64 themes on my 9700. I know. It's crazy!)

It used to be four, but more on that in a few.

Great Themer!

I know I just posted, but this themer definitely deserves her own post.

You may know her as BarbieW or @AzBarbieW(I think! Correct me if I'm wrong,please!) And she has been SO cool to start converting her AWESOME themes to 9000! When I saw that, I was SO giddy! Thank you sooo much, Barbie :)

She has always been one of my favorite themers, and is another that I ALWAYS have a few of her themes on my phone. Her themes range in a variety of styles, and are always nice and clean. Not to mention she is a very sweet person and doesn't get caught up in all that theme drama hype.

I didn't forget!

Hey all, I didn't forget you :) Promise!

I changed to my 9700 in hopes of getting my housing changed *hint hint hubby!* so hopefully by this weekend I will go back to it. I will make sure to take before, during and after pics. I bought the housing,keypad,lens,backcover AND tools for $13 shipped from Hong Kong and it got here in less than ten days! It looks to be a great housing,too.

. Themes are posted @ www.phantombbthemes.com ! Supercute and and not large files, either! Perfect for us :) She really thinks of everything!

That being said- make sure to sign up for Nancy Drew's theme club each month( www.nancydrewthemes.com ) so the club doesn't go away!

Another themer with a few cute 9000 themes is @Ashabees ! I bought her Fairy Tale theme which I also had on my 9700. If you want her to add a 9000 theme club, we have to bug her, but not TOO much! How about it, Ash?! ;)

Another 9000 user who loves her phone and has posted a 9000 FREE Hello Kitty theme for us is @tennacgal. 9000 Themes

As most of you may know, it's far and few between to find quality 9000 themes. My favorite spot (and close friend, may I add!) is at Phantom's BB Themes. Trend-eh!

There is a new trend as of late, and it's definitely not the Torch! It's an oldy by technology standards, but certainly a goody. It's the Blackberry 9000.
Just hold this beauty in your hand, and you can see why some have given up Storm 2's, Blackberry Bold II's(9700) as well as Iphones just to have this reliable phone. No, it may not have the fastest processor, but it's not much of a trade off to have the sturdiness in your hands.
That being said, I am a card carrying Blackberry Bold 9000 user, and I LOVE it! Sure, a trackpad and a wee bit (okay, a lot) more memory would make this beauty PERFECT, but the size is what's sold me. It's sold me so much that I've ordered a pink housing. Pics will be posted before, during and after once I receive the housing and get it changed!
